Renew San Diego joined the North Park Thursday Market on Jan.19.
The church’s Facebook page noted that they are invited to share joy and connection to their community. They encouraged members to join them every third Thursday of every month to meet and have fun with their neighbors.
North Park Thursday Market
According to the North Park Main Street website, the North Park Thursday Market has everything from farms to fresh fruits and vegetables. They also offer eggs, cheese, fresh fish, dips & sauces, and everything people need to stock a healthy home.
In addition, they emphasized that we could find food the same as what people could buy in their local grocery store. They stressed that consumers support local businesses and their community at North Park Thursday Market.
Moreover, they mentioned that they offer programs for children, live music, and more. They added that the North Park Thursday Market is located at the center of San Diego.
As further stated, there are more than 50 vendors in the market. They said that they operate even when it is raining.
The website highlighted that they had expanded their market in March 2022. They included the North Park Way between Ray Street and Granada, with more fun programs at the North Park Mini Park.
More importantly, the website states there is much to see and do in North Park. People could take the evening to check out the surrounding shops and have fun with friends and family in North Park.

On the same website, they posted that during the pandemic, North Park Thursday complied with the orders from the city of San Diego. They added that wearing face masks is not mandatory at outdoor farmers' markets in California.
In addition, they posted that pets at the farmer’s markets are not allowed. But, they stated that they never prohibit legitimate service animals.
According to the website, most farmers and vendors accept credit, debit, and contactless cards. They inform consumers to bring some small cash to pay exact change.
As further noted, there is a vast parking lot available for everyone. They added that they could find metered and unmetered parking in the neighborhood.
North Park Main Street
In another section, they explained that North Park Main Street is a business development district. They added that the City of San Diego pioneered it to serve as a program related to the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
Moreover, they stated that they are a non-profit organization that volunteers run. Besides, they pointed out that they promote preserving the community’s historic integrity, Arts, Culture, and Entertainment District.
Also, they mentioned that they advocate an urban pedestrian-friendly shopping and dining environment.
North Park Special Enhancement District
According to the same page, the North Park Main Street Board of Directors manages the North Park Special Enhancement District (NPSED). They added that the property owners initiated this program.
As further explained, NPSED offers unique benefits, development, and quality services within the SED boundaries. Also, they mentioned that they provide a variety of actions like streetscape, aesthetic appeal, and advocacy.
