The Restoration Church announced that Kids Camp 2022 would be Out of This World this summer. The church invites Restoration Kids, ages three to fifth grade, to attend from June 27 to June 29.
In the church’s announcement, they told children to prepare for fun activities because they will discover the wild world of IMAGINARIUM with God. They would also have crazy games, unique crafts, skits, and songs during the event.
Moreover, they emphasized that the organizers would follow all the CDC. They would also adhere to local government rules in place during the kids' camp for COVID precautions. They added that they would require all non-vaccinated leaders to wear their masks.
They would also provide hand sanitizing stations throughout the camp. The website noted that their facilities would be cleaned and sanitized regularly.
More About Kids Camp
On the same webpage, they mentioned that parents are not required to stay in the camp. Yet, they aim to help strengthen parents' involvement in their child's spiritual development. So having parents around is highly recommended.
They invite parents to join them in their opening session with a cup of coffee and bonding in the Parent Lounge. Another option they have is for parents to sign up as volunteers. The website said that becoming a part of the said camp could give them more fun, and they would receive a free child registration.
Servant Leaders Needed
Meanwhile, for those interested in becoming volunteers, the same website noted that they are needed in the three-day camp since they create connections with children and other important roles. The church requests a full-time commitment to serve every night.
Adult, high school, and middle school servant leaders are needed to make the said camp a success, as posted on another website event page. They added that this year, they would be taking the children on an epic, out-of-this-world adventure into an Imaginarium. Volunteers would help them discover their future with God is better than they could imagine.
The church encourages members to sign up. So they could work together to fulfill its mission of strengthening children and families to love and follow Jesus.
Summer Camps help in Spiritual Growth
According to the Miracle Mountain Ranch website, Christian summer camp motivates spiritual growth. Having a Bible-focused environment allows children to concentrate on their connection with God and fellow Christians. They added that children today need an activity vacation more than before. The Power of Camp said teenagers spend eight hours a day on gadgets. Nearly a third of them get the right amount of exercise they need daily.
At camp, young people have the freedom to explore nature and learn more about the glory of God’s universe. During the said event, they have the opportunity to be fully immersed in faith. They could do this while having new adventures with their fellow Christians.
Moreover, the website said that The Effective Camp Research (ECRP) revealed that children who participate in religious camps are over three times more likely to keep up their faith five years into the future than those who do not join camps with doctrinal knowledge.
