Rolando Church partners with the Convoy of Hope to get 100,000 meals wrapped and sent to Ukraine. The church is hosting a community event on June 18 to pack the first 30,000 meals at Torrey Pines Church.

The church announcement posted that they would prepare five tables.  They could accommodate 75 volunteers from their San Diego area churches. They added that many organizations are working together to give aid and resources to those affected by the war.

Meanwhile, The Outreach Program is a nonprofit organization established in 2004. It has assisted thousands of volunteers who have worked together. They were able to give more than 675 million meals to American and overseas feeding groups.

Because of their hands-on programs, various community groups package thousands of meals. These meals are high in protein, shelf-stable, and could provide essential nutrients.

Rolando’s Global Outreach

The church's mission is to help individuals find and follow Jesus Christ. With this, they believe that being involved in acts of service to their local and global community is one of the most valuable ways to express Christ’s love to others.

The Outreach Section of their website believes that serving others is an essential tool to be better at following Jesus’ example. They could do this by showing humility, kindness, generosity, and love. The church added that they have some planned initiatives for others. Some are also done spontaneously, but all are motivated by one goal: to follow Jesus.

The church also stated that they help the global community through various efforts. These initiatives help give clean drinking water to individuals worldwide. They also assisted orphans or children in need. The website also mentioned that they assist women in having their way out of being stuck in the network of human trafficking.

Outreach Program

The Outreach Program seeks to provide safe water, food, and medical care. They provide education to those in need inside and outside the country, as revealed on the organization’s website. They noted that it is a nonprofit team that organizes food packaging programs across America, Canada, and other countries.

Furthermore, the organization aims to be supported by people and corporate donations. By buying handcrafted baskets made by women in the Singida region of Tanzania, they could help them create their future and achieve self-reliance. They added that those baskets are also sold online through their web page and sent to churches and other groups to be sold to others.

Besides, the website also said that the organization holds many medical missions to Tanzania. The Outreach has helped 23 medical missions and worked with more than 1,2000 medical volunteers in the Singida Region since 2005. They added that during each eight to ten-day event, doctors performed 60 significant operations. These surgeries include pediatric and women’s health concerns.

In 2012, Outreach said they bought the registered company Shallom Farm and Plantation LTD and leased 8,000 acres. They would use it to support the Children’s Centers. Shalom would also be used as a place for their demonstration program to teach new farming practices to local farmers.
