Rock Church invited women from around San Diego to join Spa Conference on Sept. 17, Saturday, at Rock Church Point Loma.
The church’s Facebook page posted that the conference centers on giving spiritual renewal and rest to women.
They emphasized that the gathering is not a “mud-bath-and-cucumber-mask” kind of spa.
However, they mentioned that the conference is about tasting the living water from the well to embrace the grace of God. According to the post, this event would help ladies realize God’s providence amidst their sufferings.
Rock Church encouraged women in San Diego to join and encounter God, who gives them real rest.
Refreshing Soul
According to the Soul Spa Conference website, they pray for refreshments for the souls of those who attend the said gathering. As further explained, Soul Spa is intended for every woman experiencing various seasons in their journey.
Besides, the website noted that the conferences would be an excellent chance to listen to other women of all ages. As posted on the website, these ladies had already created their identities and discovered their purpose.
The website quoted the scripture in Psalm 107:35, “He turns the desert into pools of water, and he turns parched lands into springs of water.”
In addition, the Soul Spa Conference would help women to realize that they were made to follow the one that leads them to “rest” near the streams of living water, as mentioned on the conference homepage.
As the website posts, they invite ladies to let God care for them, the one that makes their dry souls into flourishing gardens.
Conference’s Guest Speaker
The same website revealed that Cathy Greer would speak at the Spa Conference. The website said she is a great speaker, writer, pastor, and leader.
They highlighted that Greer has served in the ministry for over 30 years.
Moreover, the website stated that she pioneered the Mission Support Ministries (MSM), an organization committed to expanding God’s Kingdom. Greer is MSM's president, as further explained on the website.
They noted that to fulfill MSM’s goal, they plant churches, evangelize, and educate vulnerable people.
More importantly, they mentioned that Greer and her husband had trained thousands of church leaders and pastors in more than 30 countries. They are appointed ministers, as revealed on the website. They added that she has been married for 30 years, and God has blessed them with one daughter.
Meanwhile, Greer also founded Kingdom Women International. The website said she has the heart to motivate and train leaders to fulfill their identity in Christ.
Women of Rock Church
The Rock Church’s women's section mentioned that the church provides programs for ladies of all ages. The women’s ministry offers a venue for nurturing rooted in God’s word, as further explained on the website.
Besides, at the Rock Church’s women's program, they help them seek grace and motivation. The website added that they assist women in growing spiritually and being empowered.
In addition, they said that they train ladies to serve others in the church and its neighborhood. The Women's Ministry hosts Bible studies and mentoring programs, as posted on the website. They added that they conduct discipleship and special programs for women.
