Rock Church to host conference for male

Rock Church encouraged its male members to register at the Ignite Men Conference on Saturday, Oct. 22.

The church’s Facebook page announced that the gathering would be about sparking the fire in men’s hearts to become the men of God they intended to be. They noted that participants would learn how to be dedicated disciples of Jesus.

The church asked its male members to reach out to their brothers, small group members, and those who are part of the fantasy football league to register.

Created to be Impactful

According to the Ignite Men website, men are not just created to become normal. But they mentioned that God designed them to make an impact while becoming a servant leader daily.

As further explained, they need to become a fire that shines brightly with all its strength and passion. The website said that men should burn effectively for their creator.

Besides, the ministry believes God made humans live life in a community. They revealed that many men attend churches on Sundays but never connect in a community.

The website said that through community engagement, men could develop healthy accountability and could strengthen the brotherhood. The ministry welcomes everyone to be part of a “life-giving community of men.”

Members could encourage each other through this men’s ministry, as added on the website. They also mentioned that male members could help them in their journey towards Jesus.

International Speaker

John Bevere is one of the speakers they will have at the conference. According to the same website, Bevere and his wife Lisa pioneered Messenger International. They stressed that he does not compromise the truth whenever he speaks.

In addition, the website said that he speaks boldly and passionately. They also highlighted that Bevere is a minister and a best-selling author. His books have been translated into over 100 languages, as posted on the website.

Moreover, they said that his books had sold millions of copies and been given to pastors and leaders worldwide.

Bevere is passionate about helping local churches and leaders in any part of the world, as added on the website. They mentioned that he is willing to help leaders regardless of the leader's language or financial status.

During his free time, as the website revealed, Bevere plays golf or has time with his family.

NFL Player, Speaker

Another highlight of the conference is Pastor Miles Mcpherson. The same website stated that the pastor was a player in the NFL with the San Diego Chargers for four years. He admitted that he became a cocaine addict.

The website mentioned that it was in his second season in the NFL that he met Jesus and accepted Him. One day, he stopped using drugs, as added on the website.

In addition, they noted that Mcpherson accepted God’s calling to start the Rock Church in San Diego in 2000. They said the church is dedicated to demonstrating Jesus’ hope to the streets.

The website also stressed that Mcpherson is the author of “Do Something: Make Your Life Count” and “The Third Option.”
