Seacoast Community Church invites its congregation to participate in the Fourth yearly Summer Discipleship Journey on Freedom in Christ from June 7 to August 30 every Tuesday night via Zoom meetings.

The church's events section announced that the purpose of this course is to let members know their identity in Christ. Also, they added that this set of programs is an opportunity for them to have freedom.  They could live free from whatever holds them from being changed by renewing their minds.

Besides, they posted that this course is for members 18 years old and above.

Freedom in Christ

“Live your life free and fruitful in Christ,” the church's Freedom page posted.

The church stated that freedom in Jesus is rooted in God’s Word to help every Christians to live free and productive in Christ. They added that this ministry comprises Christians who are set free in Jesus. They are also included in the Community Freedom Ministry Associated (CFMA).

They added that Freedom Christ Ministries equip this association. It is for them to teach the message under spiritual leaders of the Seacoast community and CFMA supervision.

The church posted that the Freedom in Christ Ministry (FICM) primarily includes teaching, reading, and taking. The website said that the church teaches discipleship journeys and the Grace Course. They also let members read “Victory over the Darkness” and “The Bondage Breaker” by Neil Anderson.

Members also take the “Step to Freedom of Christ” as a part of this ministry.

FICM

The FICM website revealed that it was founded in 1989 by Dr. Neil Anderson while working as a professor of practical theology. He discovered that Christians often need practical guidance. They need it to deal with personal and spiritual conflicts so they can live freely and productively in Jesus.

The results of Anderson’s study and experience are his best-selling books, “Victory Over the Darkness and The Bondage Breaker.” FICM has increased to hundreds of trained staff and volunteers. They are serving nationwide and worldwide.

How the FICM Equips

FICM revealed that they train pastors and lay leaders to assist their members to live as free and efficient followers of Jesus. They do this training so they can personally encounter  Jesus. Then they can effectively share the life-giving facts of humans’ identity and position.

Through their training, people could also know their authority and freedom. They do this through Community Freedom Ministry University (CFMU).

Leaders are also prepared to lead their members through biblical and transferable ministry resources.  These tools include repentance and faith called The Steps to Freedom in Christ.

More importantly, as posted on their website, FICM offers Community Freedom Ministry. It is a discipleship program within a congregation of Christian groups. It provides an environment to encounter a renewal of life, joy, and maturity.

The whole church, including marriages and families, could experience the fullness in Christ, as posted on the website.

Another strategy that FICM is using is the Community Freedom Ministry Associate (CFMA). Those who finished the CFM Coordinator Track, a three-online CFMU course, and a face-to-face practicum could take the CFMA. Also, those who their church or group acknowledges could take this course.
