The Shadow Mountain Community Church Kids Ministry comes back in – person. On its webpage, the church also announces the ministry's activities for the Christmas season.

Kids Ministry

As shared on the church's website, the Kids Ministry is back on campus. The Kids Ministry meets on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. and Sunday at 9:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.

Among the activities for Shadow Mountain Kids are the Winter Blast, SMK: Child Dedication, and Shadow Mountain Christmas.

According to the website, the church invites kids and encourages parents to sign them up for the Winter Blast. As stated on the webpage, the event is an unforgettable couple of days where kids will experience energy-filled Christmas rally, ultimate culinary or creative activities, and many more.

The Winter Blast venue is at Shadow Mountain El Cajon Campus. As shared on the website, children can experience three action-packed culinary or creative experiences.

These activities include Face-Off, Messy Art, and Extreme Hydro Dipping for the creative experiences. Meanwhile, the culinary experiences include Cupcake Challenge, Kids in the Kitchen, and Diced Kids.

All these activities are for day 1. While for day 2, the Shadow Mountain Community Church will be taking the kids to BOOMERS in Vista.

The Kids Ministry Goals

This ministry aims to develop the kids' genuine relations with God and create a biblical foundation in their lives. Moreover, the ministry aims for the children to grow with friends and leaders and develop a community at church that they love being a member of.

Servant Ministry

This ministry exists to connect the God-given gifts of Shadow Mountain servants to mission appointments and purposeful service.

It is a huge family made of hundreds of gifted servants. According to the church, being part of this ministry means finding a place to embrace one's passion completely, learning God's idea of rewarding purpose, and discovering joy when one's gifts are used for serving others.

Moreover, being a member of this ministry enables everyone to grow in walk with the Lord while serving Him. It also allows a person to experience a small group feeling while being part of a big body while serving the Lord's Kingdom.

The Shadow Mountain Christmas features the Living Nativity

As told by the church, Christmas is one of everyone's favorite times of the year. The church celebrates throughout December.

Every weekend Shadow Mountain has three identical services in person and online at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and 9:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. on Sunday. Additional services streamed online for 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.

The church features a Living Nativity in time for Christmas on Dec. 18 and 19. Jesus' birth comes to life during the services with music. Moreover, the Living Nativity will feature Mary, Joseph, Jesus, and the three wise men.

Animals in the manager will also be present. Gene McDonald will grace the church with her presence during the Living Nativity.
