Soul Church has responded to mental health challenges by providing 10 Mental Health Practices seminars. Dr. Angie Richey delivered a talk on these practices last January 31.

According to Soul Church’s Facebook, guest speaker Dr. Angie Richey provided a powerful message about 10 Mental Health Practices everyone should observe for an abundant life.

According to her, people cannot be free without talking about mental health. Dr. Angie Richey shared that mental health is spiritual. In her talk, she stated that mental health includes emotional, psychological, and social well–being.

Mental health impacts one’s thinking, feelings, and actions. Moreover, it also determines how a person handles stress, deals with others, and navigates choices.

It is important no matter what stage of life one person is at. Dr. Angie Richey stated that everyone’s mental health has been taking a hit since March 2019. Furthermore, she declared that the enemy is thrilled with such a situation and is having a heyday.

As relationships become challenged and some are destroyed. Dr. Angie Richey shared the 10 mental health practices by Jesus Christ, as revealed in the Bible. According to

Dr. Richey, when people analyze their situation, they are either a total stress case or numbed out. She emphasized it is not about lack of focus, lack of motivation, lack of whatever but loss of connections. Many lost connections have impacted everyone more than one can ever imagine.

Jesus is present to help everyone get plugged into what has God in store for His people. Furthermore, Dr. Richey emphasized the need for everyone to be reconnected.

Dr. Angie Richey

Dr. Angie Richey is the president of Life Pacific University. She was appointed into the position in 2019, succeeding Jim J. Adams as president of LPU.

Dr. Richey is the 11th president of Life Pacific University, an affiliation with The Foursquare Church. She was chosen as president following a four-month national search.

She is an ordained Foursquare Church minister. Moreover, Dr. Richey is acknowledged as the voice in Christian higher education. She presented at the Council for Christian College and Universities (CCCU) 2018 International Forum and other conferences across the country.

Dr. Richey is a licensed marriage and family therapist.

The church location is Soul Studios 740 13th St STE 504, San Diego, as shared on its Facebook. In-person worship happens every Sunday at 10 a.m. Online service is 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
