The Soul Church will set aside 21 days for seeking God, His will, and His power. The congregation will spend these days fasting and prayer starting Jan. 17 to Feb. 7.

21 Days, Fasting, Prayer

The Soul Church at San Diego welcomes the new year with 21 days of fasting and prayer. As shared on its website, it strongly encourages its congregation to do the biblical practices of fasting and prayer.

Additionally, Soul Church asks its congregation to make these practices part of their lifestyle and earnestly seek after God by utilizing all the "weapons of their warfare that have been given to the church.

According to Soul Church, it will use 21 days to earnestly fast, worship, and pray at the start of the year. As stated by the church, prayer is a regular part of their lives. It is when the concerted focus of the entire body is on unity.

Moreover, these 21 days will give special attention to God's more significant things for the Soul Church's people. It calls these days "holy days."

As stated by the church, these "holy days" are compelling and necessary to witness the kind of spiritual advancement the congregation believes in.

As per its Facebook page, the church location is at 740 13th Street San Diego, CA 92101.

In-person worship happens on Sundays at 10:00 a.m. Soul Church also makes worship available online through Facebook, YouTube, and SoulChurchSD.com. Watch online on Dec. 16 and Jan. 2 at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

Soul Church houses two ministries – Heart for the House and Soul Kids.

Heart for the House

For 2021 the Heart for the House aimed to support local organizations such as Laundry Love and Big – Table SD. It also targeted raising funds for supporting the MWANDA Project.

Heart for the House also aimed to relaunch East Campus and conduct a Fall Conference.

Additionally, Heart of the House was also raising funds for its place of worship.

Laundry Love

Laundry Love provides services to low or no-income families and individuals across the United States. It washes clothes and beddings for these people. It partners with diverse groups and laundromats nationwide to brighten the lives of thousands of people.

Big Table – San Diego

"Caring for the restaurant and hospitality industry by building community, and caring for those in transition, or falling through the cracks."

According to the website, an actual big table accommodates 48 people. The Big Table hosts six and seven-course chef dinners several times a year. Those invited to the table are people who work in the industry.

Soul Kids

According to the church website, Soul Kids will be world changers. Soul Church believes in working with parents to nurture the hearts and minds of their children with the wisdom and truth of Christ.

The church believes that they can practice the power and love of Jesus through these children, wherever life leads them.
