Ukrainian Refugees

According to the New York Post, thousands of Ukrainians have already been permitted into the U.S. It is a promise fulfilled by the Biden Administration after announcing that it would welcome 100,000 refugees displaced by the war last month.

These refugees have been arriving at Mexico’s northern border cities. They come in thousands and hope to be given temporary admission to the U.S. on humanitarian grounds.

Meanwhile, according to CNN, to meet the commitment of welcoming 100,000 Ukrainian refugees and others escaping the Russian invasion, the U.S. government considers the full range of legal pathways to the United States.

These legal pathways include the U.S. refugee admissions program, parole, and immigrant and non-immigrant visas.
