The Mission Church lines up event, launches

This January 2022, The Mission Church gears up for launching its ministries. Starting January 9 – 12, the church will launch its ministries and engage in special fellowship events.

Mission Group Launch

First on the list of its activities for 2022 is Mission Group Launch. As per its website, this launching event, Meet & Eat, will happen on the week of January 9.

Participants enjoy a meal and fellowship in a small group. Mission Groups is the church version of community groups.

It focuses on diving into God’s Word from Sunday sermons, prayer and establishes friendship. Additionally, the Mission Church believes that being part of a community beyond Sunday morning is significant for everyone’s growth as Christ’s followers.

Moreover, many of the mission groups meet in homes during the week. The church encourages everyone to get connected through mission groups in their area.

Men’s Ministry BBQ Kickoff

As shared on its website, Men’s Ministry equips men to become the selfless leaders God intended them to be. Through Bible study, Godly fellowship with men, small-group discipleship, good food, and fun recreation, the ministry makes this possible.

The Men’s Ministry Manifesto is to be men:

Who embrace God upon their lives
Are builders of men
Reveal the Lordship of Christ in their actions.

The ministry for 2022 will be launched on January 11 at 6:30 p.m. through a BBQ kickoff. The Men's Ministry meets every Tuesday night at 6:30. Its Winter session begins with the topic. “The Making of a Man of God.”

The event is free. The Bible study will focus on The Life of King David, 1&2 Samuel. The book costs $20.

Women’s Ministry Launch

The church invites everyone to join the Women's Ministry and explore the Book of Colossians – New Life in Christ. As per its website, the ministry will host a potluck as it launches its new session on two different dates.

The first part will be on Wednesday, January 12 at 10 a.m. The second part of the launch will be on January 13 at 6:30 p.m.

The Mission Church assures everyone that it will be a day of friendship, teaching from God’s Word, and small group fellowship.

Young Adult Ministry

January 12 is Community Night Wednesday for the Young Adult Ministry. The Mission Church calls on 18 – 29 years old to join its College and Young Adult Ministry as it kicks off with a Worship Community Night this coming Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

Dinner costs $5 and will be followed by a time for worship, a message from God’s word, and a walk in the Carlsbad Village for some Handel’s Ice Cream.

The Mission Church

Its location is 825 Carlsbad Village Drive, Carlsbad, CA 92008. Sunday worship happens at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Pastor David Menard serves as lead pastor of this church.

The church philosophy states:

“We care about people.”

“We value relationships.”

“We worship Jesus.”

According to the church, Christ commanded all people to love Him and tell the whole world about Him. As stated on the website, this is the church’s mission.
