This coming Nov. 7, The Movement Church will join hands with Jesus Culture for a night of worship. The church invites everyone to participate in this once-a-year event where Christian North County Churches come together.

North County Encounter Night

As per its Facebook page, at 6:00 p.m. on Nov. 7, Encounter Night is scheduled at the Oceanside Pier Amphitheater. The Movement Church encourages everyone to come to this special event.

It partners with various Christian churches in North County for this fantastic night of worship. The invitation on Facebook states that worship leaders and pastors across the region will be leading together.

A video dated Oct. 26 from the same page showed that pastors and representatives from participating churches invite Christians to be part of Encounter Night.  Doug Reid, lead pastor of Coast City Church, Zach Curry of Jesus Culture San Diego, Willie Register from North Coast Calvary, and Troy Martin, pastor of Venture Church Encinitas, were featured on the video.

In the latter part of the video, Jeff Moors, the lead pastor of Rhythm Church Oceanside, invites everyone on Encounter Night. Dough Reid shared that they plan to see God shake San Diego County with His presence and hope to see everyone.

Finally, Zach Curry encouraged people to tell a friend, sign up, and be there. Each of those participating churches included Encounter Night on their calendar.

18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” – Matthew 28:18-20

The Movement Church location is at 1609 Capalina Road, San Marcos, CA 92609.

As per its webpage, The Movement Church believes that God’s mission for it was laid out flawlessly in His Word.

Therefore, its mission and vision are in harmony with that truth and reflect the church’s desire to fulfill God's role – to reach, teach, and release people into works that He has purposed for them.

As for its vision, The Movement Church aspires to be a family of worshippers. It aims that its members become actively involved in helping others grasp what it means to be loved by God, love one another, and discover their place in the Body of Christ.

The church is engaged in local and global outreach projects. Among the local partnerships it has are North County Food Bank and San Marcos Elementary School.

The Movement Church also extends its services and generosity outside San Marcos to the local region. It belongs to Team Movement, which represents a collective church effort in San Diego County.

With such movement, the church serves the county through We Pray San Diego, Turkey Trot, Saturate San Diego, Oceanside Ironman Pitstop Crew, and David’s Tent.
