The Movement Church launches its Weekly

The Movement Church gets ready for the coming of Jesus through its four weeks of Advent Preparation. Every week the church hosts an Advent celebration in the courtyard.

The Movement Church Christmas Celebration

The church starts spreading the love and joy of Christmas through its series of celebrations that start this Nov. 22. As indicated on its webpage, The Movement Church encourages everyone to gather their loved ones and bring their neighbors to attend the four weeks of Advent Preparation.

The event will happen both in-person and online. Moreover, the church also shares this good news on its Facebook page. According to the announcement, Advent Preparation is going to be a special time.

Jacket Up Again, Wrap Party

Jacket Up Again is a jacket drive for the San Marcos Elementary students whose families struggle to meet their basic needs. The Movement Church has championed this project for 120 students for the past five years.

The church, through this project, will provide all-weather jackets to these students. It calls for financial support from its members and others who might want to share their blessings. It provided a link on its website for donations. Donations can be given online from Nov. 22- 28. $30 provides one jacket.

Meanwhile, the Movement Church is preparing the jackets this week with a Wrap Up Party. Wrapping up happens next Sunday, Nov. 28, from 10:00 a.m. in the courtyard. Games, snacks, and a “Wrap Battle” are some of the activities for the Wrap Party.

Christmas Market

Dec. 5 is the date for Christmas Market. As indicated on the church website, the courtyard will serve as the venue for the Annual Christmas Market. The event will support local vendors.

Family Christmas Festival

As announced on the same website, the church on Dec. 12 will have a full-on Family Christmas Festival. The event is especially for all the kids in The Movement family. The church will also share the love of Jesus through its free Food Distribution on Dec. 20, from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Every month The Movement Church partners with the North County food bank. It helps feed 120 locals who are facing food insecurity. The church calls on volunteers to help in various tasks to make this outreach run smoothly. It also reminds those who want to volunteer to apply to serve by Dec. 13.

The Movement Church

It is located at 1609 Capalina Road, San Marcos, CA 92078. The Movement Church service happens every Sunday at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. The church continues to provide options for worship.

Online or live stream meetings continue for those who are unable to attend on-campus services.

The church believes that God’s desire is for them to reach, teach, and release people into assignments that He has intended for them.
