Pastor David Lee Holt transitions into the Kingdom of the Lord

The Lord chose David Lee Holt to be with Him in his Kingdom in the afterlife. Holt was a faithful disciple who served several ministries. He was a Little Rock, Arkansas native who moved to the DFW area.

He transitioned to be with his Lord on Aug. 4. Family and friends mourned after he passed away. The former pastor left this world with an exceptional legacy to remember by many till lifetime, Arkansas Democrat Gazette reported.

His Tenure in Fort Worth

David Lee Holt moved to Fort Worth from Arkansas to continue his studies. He enrolled at the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and used the knowledge he learned from the seminary in his pastoral career. The university he attended before he came to Fort Worth was Ouachita Baptist University.

The late David Lee Holt answered the calling of God in the ministry. He went back to his hometown to lead a church for many years. Also, he served in three other churches based in other cities in the United States.

Holt spent 36 years leading these churches. His supportive wife, Sandy Holt, helped him spread the love and the teachings of the Lord. The couple founded a church in Kampala, Uganda. They created ties with their neighbors, who became their longtime friends, through the Gospel.

David Lee Holt changed the lives of others with his faith. His family and friends remembered him as a respectable disciple of the Lord. God blessed David Lee and his wife with a lovely family.

David Lee Holt and his wife, Sandy, shared faithful love for 59 years. He left Sandy, their four grownup daughters, three granddaughters, and four grandsons. His daughters include Lisa, Aimee, Holly, and Andrea.

Lisa and Aimee share life with their husbands from Missouri. Holly Holt is now living with her husband from Houston, Texas, David Cabrera. God united Andrea and her husband from Little Rock, Arkansas, Jay Heflin.

The grandchildren of the late David Lee Holt include Hannah, Emery, Ben, Will, Anna, Sofia, and Ian. David Lee had an exemplary pastoral career. He blessed others around him. His family found out that he had a disease in 2016. The disease weakened the former pastor. He spent his last time around loved ones.

Family and friends gathered recently on Aug. 7 to celebrate the life of the late David Lee Holt at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home.
