Patrick Bryan MacCourt, former pastor of Praise Temple in Glen Rose, dies at 76

A faithful servant of God transitioned into the afterlife to be with Him in His kingdom earlier this month. Former Pastor Patrick Bryan MacCourt left this world after he battled an ailment. He was an incomparable disciple, remembered by family and friends till lifetime, Legacy reported.

Patrick Bryan MacCourt resided in Dallas, Texas. He was from Wharton, where his parents raised him. The former pastor had an outstanding career God blessed throughout his life. He spent the rest of his life around family.

MacCourt and his wife, Ella Nora Clinton, decided to leave Dallas to spread the word of God in another region. They moved to Israel, where they started to have their own family. Clinton-MacCourt gave birth to their first child.

The couple was missionaries during their tenancy in Israel until they moved again to Texas. They headed to a town, Granbury, where Patrick Bryan MacCourt worked in non-ministry-related firms. 

These companies were Dee Howard, Bombardier, General Dynamics, and Lockheed Martin, an aerospace and global security company. Lockheed Martin is a company based in Bethesda, Maryland. MacCourt was an engineer in the corporation.

However, Patrick Bryan MacCourt did not turn his faith in God. At some point in his career, he became a pastor in Glen Rose, Texas-based church. It was where he created ties with the community.

Glen Rose, Texas-based Praise Temple Missionary Baptist Church was the home of its former pastor, Patrick Bryan MacCourt. He created a path for people to God within his leadership in the parish.

MacCourt loved to share the teachings of God. Legacy credited him for his dedication to transforming the lives of others through the gospel. He was an exemplary faith leader in his neighbors.

His Education

Patrick Bryan MacCourt finished his studies at Sam Houston State College before he met his beloved wife. He used his skills and knowledge in the companies he worked for during his career.

Patrick Bryan MacCourt and Ella Nora Clinton took their vow in front of God on August 24, 1968. God blessed their sacred union with children and love. Their marriage lasted for nearly 54 years.

MacCourt left his wife and daughter Becka MacCourt-Grubbs. Also, he had three grandchildren with who he loved spending time eating ice cream. These grandchildren include Presley, Taylor, and Cash. Becka shares her life with her husband, Ryan Grubb, a Flower Mound native.

God united Patrick Bryan MacCourt and his first-born daughter, Elizabeth Ann MacCourt. Also, he now joined the afterlife with his parents, Ruby Willye and Patrick John MacCourt.

His Funeral

Family and friends shared grief as Patrick Bryan MacCourt was sent to his final rest at Pioneer Cemetery in Graham, Texas. Morrison Funeral Home Chapel hosted the funeral service of the former pastor.
