Deshauna Barber, who appeared in the first season of T. D. Jakes' show, will share her message for the graduates of Norwich University.

According to an article, Barber is the first-ever military personnel who was crowned in the United States American pageant. She was born on December 6, 1989. The 2016 Titleholder also serves in the American Military. She is also an award-winning international speaker. She shared words of motivation to inspire many people.

Barber is a woman with dedication and passion for her work. She is a full-time president and chief executive officer of the Service Women's Action Network. Additionally, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Management at Virginia State University. Also, she finished her Master of Science in Computer Information Systems and Services at the Maryland University College.

For about five decades in the country's service, Barber now works as an instructor at Howard University's Bison Battalion. It is where Barber shares her knowledge and story of commitment and dedication to the people who joined the service. Barber continuously worked on her sworn duty as an Army Reserve.

With her success in life, Barber is now traveling in different places to share words of encouragement and motivation.

The Norwich University President Mark Anarumo stated that Barber is the perfect speaker for their university's 2022 commencement exercises. He said that Captain Barber would be a valued guest of their university to the graduates and other guests. He said that their university is ready to welcome the 2016 Miss. USA Captain Deshauna Barber. The commencement will be held on April 30, 2022. 

Norwich University ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. About 400 Norwich Students will be hearing Captain Barber's message on their graduation day. People are welcome to watch and witness the commencement ceremony as the public is permitted to watch the ceremony.
