About Deer Creek Church

Deer Creek Church is reportedly a church for imperfect people who do not try to be flawless. The Deer Creek Church was something that a dozen of people wanted to start 30 years ago, according to the church's website.

The church reportedly set out to build a community to assist individuals in connecting with God through a personal relationship with Jesus.

Deer Creek Church believes that knowing and following Jesus is the most significant, transformative, and empowering thing a person can do, and the church still reportedly holds that belief today.

According to the church, Jesus is the only way for sinful people to grow and obtain eternal life.

'Reaching Up, Reaching In, Reaching Out'

According to the same website, the church is a group of imperfect and unpretentious individuals. They reportedly work on 'reaching up, reaching in, and reaching out.' Thus, Christ performed it exactly.

Finding God and learning to follow Him are the main themes of Reaching Up. As explained, when the church members come together every Sunday to celebrate the gospel's message of life, they Reach Up.

Recognizing and getting to know people are the main themes of Reaching In.

Small Groups have reportedly long been a key component of connection development at Deer Creek Church. These groups develop in ways that make them more like Jesus.

The core of Reaching Out is using the church members' distinctive personalities and spiritual gifts to assist others.

As explained, the church does not merely follow Jesus for their gain; they do so to change the world.

According to Deer Creek Church, the life of a disciple is exciting. The mission of Deer Creek Church is to develop disciples who can make a difference.

Small Groups

Through community outreach, the Deer Creek Church's Small Groups are intended to assist individuals in taking their next step in becoming a disciple of Jesus.

This means that the three components of community, prayer and spiritual development will be present in every Small Group.

As explained, every Small Group will challenge and inspire people to take another step in following Jesus, whether they are just starting a relationship with God or have been a follower their entire life.
