The Highlands Church Denver will soon host an event entitled 'Exploring Reproductive Justice Workshop' on Thursday, July 21, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the church grounds in Colorado.

Exploring Reproductive Justice

According to the Highlands Church website, the topic of 'Reproductive Justice' is a brand-new law topic. The church invites everyone to its interactive workshop as they start on this adventure.

Participants will reportedly discover more about the fight for reproductive rights and the inequities that exist in the area of reproductive health.

Highlands Church Denver reportedly discusses justice frequently in their church because it is fundamental to who God is and what Christians are expected to do.

The church also supports one another in taking personal and spiritual responsibility for how each of them carries out justice in accordance with their convictions. The church also reportedly prays for justice as a group in Christ.

Highlands Church Denver's staff team reportedly attended the same workshop in June. Together, they experienced the "ah-ha" moments, learned new information, and had their eyes opened.

As reported, its members traveled through 300 years of historical events highlighting systematic reproductive injustice and significant moments of joyful success.

Highlands Church Values

According to the same website, a Trinitarian view of God as Creator, Redeemer, and Spirit has shaped the theological core and spirit of Highlands Church.

The church reportedly has faith in the eternal flow of God's love towards them and everyone else as it emanates from the connections they find between God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

As explained, this relational part of the Trinity is what the church perceives as a divine dance of love that began in God before creation.

As per the same website, since Jesus taught that God's love is available to everyone and that Christ died for the entire world, the church now regards itself as a Christ-centric universalist.

According to the church, God's embrace is an all-encompassing, irresistible love that compels them to acknowledge and proclaim the worth of each and every person.

Through the Apostle's Creed, the church continues to be connected to the early church.

Highlands Church

Highlands Church was reportedly established in 2009 on the tenet that when God created the universe, and specifically humans, God said, "This is good."

The church's history is one of goodness. Highlands Church thinks this kindness is applicable to all people regardless of gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ability, or differently-abled bodies.

According to Fr. Richard Rohr, "Our relationship with God cannot be created. In all actuality, that is already true.”

He added that there is nothing people can do to influence God's love for them positively or negatively.

The church thinks that everyone is lavishly welcomed into love by God. The goal of their mission, which is to do right, love kindness, and walk humbly with God, is to extend this welcome.

Highlands Church thinks that by living out this mission, they will be extending God's invitation to the globe.
