Plymouth Congregational Church in Minneapolis will hold Camp Plymouth as part of its summer camp on Aug. 25-28 at Luther Crest in Alexandria, MN, at 4 p.m.

The Plymouth Congregational Church believes that Camp Plymouth is a location where people may unwind and provides a wonderful opportunity for families and other church members to spend time together in a social and relaxing setting.

According to the church announcement, participants will have the incredible opportunity to engage with fellow Plymouthites of all ages in a fresh setting if they participate in Camp Plymouth. 

The church also believes it is a wonderful way to bring an end to their summer and prepare themselves for the activity and excitement that September offers.

It also stated that households could check in as early as Thursday afternoon, giving them additional time to relax and decompress. 

The camp offers various activities, some geared specifically for families. These include swimming, worship, multiple games and activities, and more. All the information stated above is available on the church’s website, where they can register for the camp online. 

Children, Youth, Families at Plymouth CC

At Plymouth, the young people are taught the stories of the Bible through the lens of progressive Christianity, which gives children a very special role in the community. They begin in early childhood to instill a strong emphasis on both the arts and social justice.

They have the conviction that the ministry and growth of their young people are intertwined with each and every aspect of the process of constructing their church community.

According to the church post, when children reach a certain age at Plymouth, they are invited to participate in the Youth Program. 

The young people of the congregation are encouraged to actively live out their spirituality while also investigating current issues and understanding the history of the Christian religion.

To aid in the spiritual growth of the church's youth and to meet them at the point in their journey, the church's Children and Youth leadership plans and organizes volunteer projects, retreats, and camps. These opportunities are made available to the youth.
