The Brooklyn pastor, Lamor Whitehead, who was robbed during his live-streamed sermon, has recently given messages to his fellow pastors.

In an article from the Church Leaders, Whitehead reportedly went to the red carpet of the 53rd GMA Dove Awards. The red carpet was held on Tuesday, Oct. 18.

Whitehead’s Message

As per the news source, Pastor Whitehead of the Leaders of Tomorrow International Ministries gave a message to other churches following the robbery incident that happened earlier in the year.

Whitehead said that he thinks that pastors did not think that what happened to him could happen to them, which is why they did not gain support with the incident from the church.

He believed that God used him because He trusted him. He also mentioned the possible reason why churches do not tend to assist one another.

As mentioned, the churches band together and support other nations when things go wrong abroad, but they do not do anything similar when things go wrong domestically.

Also, Whitehead expressed his gratitude for using him at the specific time and place to shed light on the church's protection and help people realize that trauma is real.

Moreover, he gave the church across the world some words of encouragement through 2 Chronicles 7:14.

The verse states, “If My people will call by My name, shall humble themselves and pray, seek My face, turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and heal the land.”

Whitehead Robbery Details

According to the article from The New York Times, Pastor Whitehead narrated the details of the robbery incident at his church through an Instagram video.

He described how the robbers brandished a gun at him and took his bishop's cross, necklaces, numerous chains, watch, and wedding band.

According to the report, the pastor’s wife's jewelry was also robbed; the robber pointed a gun at his 8-month-old child.

According to the live-streaming video on their YouTube channel, the three armed and masked guys in black were approaching the stage where the pastor was preaching as they entered the church.

As per the New York Police Department, the robbery that occurred at the Leaders of Tomorrow International Churches is currently under investigation.

Moreover, in an Instagram post, the pastor expressed gratitude that no one was wounded and that the situation did not lead to mass shooting incidents, as any other congregation experienced in other states.

Additionally, the pastor will pay out $50,000 in cash in exchange for information leading to the criminals.

Recent Issue of the Pastor

The Brooklyn bishop made the headlines again. This happened after an incident where he reportedly yanked a woman by the back of the neck and dragged her out of the room for interfering with his live sermon.

The incident happened on Sunday, Sept. 18.

As reported, the incident was filmed and showed that the bishop suddenly stopped preaching and confronted the woman taking pictures and video of their argument.

Moreover, Whitehead was taken into custody by law enforcement when they arrived.

After that, they informed him that assault-related charges would be brought against him and took him to the 69th Precinct station house.
