The Episcopal Church's Office of Public Affairs has recently opened the application for the interim bodies of the Episcopal church.

Applicant Call

According to the press release of The Episcopal Church's Office of Public Affairs, Rev. Michael Barlowe, secretary of the General Convention, publicly announced the opening for the applications for the interim bodies in the Episcopal church.

The available positions for the interim bodies reportedly include the works in committees, commissions, and task forces that will serve the Episcopal church.

As reported, the church encourages Episcopalians who are skilled and experienced for the positions mentioned.

Accordingly, the available positions are open for the Episcopalians throughout the church to apply for in the body created by the General Convention.

The applications for the available position will be until Friday, Aug. 12. The appointment for the task force will reportedly be accepting applications until the spring or after the task force committee has formed.

Reverend Barlow said that serving the interim body of the Episcopal church is a way to serve and participate in the church's programs.

Moreover, Michael Curry, Episcopal Church presiding bishop, and Julia Ayala Harris, president of the House of Deputies, will reportedly be making the initial appointments of the applicants in September.

As reported, the appointees will serve for two years in the Episcopal church until the 81st celebration of the 81st General Convention in 2024.

As explained, they will only focus on the General Convention's objectives.
