Heritage Lutheran Church invited adults to a resilience workshop on Saturday, Sept. 24. adults. The workshop will be at the church from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Resilience Workshop
Heritage Lutheran Church in Gilbert will host "The Resilient Adult" workshop, in partnership with Christian Family Solutions.
The church announced the workshop through its Facebook page. According to their post, The Resilient Adult would radically change one in responding to setbacks, challenges, and transition.
Furthermore, the workshop will make everyone discover and feel the Lord's grace through teaching practical resilience skills. Karen Fischer, a licensed professional counselor from Christian Family Solutions, will serve as the workshop's presenter.
According to Heritage Lutheran Church's website, the workshop is a free event. It did not require any fee for joining the workshop.
The workshop will cover six modules: Module 1 Resilience, Module 2 Crisis Survival, Module 3 Reality Acceptance, Module 4 Mindfulness, Module 5 Emotion Regulation, and Module 6 Thought Distortions.

Aaron Bublitz is the pastor of this community of Christ's followers. Bublitz lived most of his life in southeastern Wisconsin. He is a second-career pastor.
He ran his family's restaurant business for many years before studying for six years to become a pastor. Bublitz has been married to Laura for 24 years. The couple has three children.
He first served a church on the north side of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, before coming to Heritage in 2019.
