Mountain Ridge Church partners with 'Water4', raises awareness on global water crisis

Mountain Ridge Church partnered with Water4 in hosting a walk to raise funds and awareness for the global water crisis on Saturday, Oct. 8, at 8:30 a.m.

Annual Walk4Water4 

Mountain Ridge Church gathered its congregation and welcomed others to its 2nd Annual Walk4Water4 event.

As stated on the event’s website, the church invited all to walk 3.7 miles carrying water in support of people across Africa who do not have access to water. 

Mountain Ridge Church raised funds and spread awareness to end the global water crisis. It also shared the news through its Facebook page.  

Mountain Ridge Church also provided an update about the recent Annual Walk4Water4. It shared participants had a great time. It invited all to enjoy some pictures from the event.  

The church extended its gratitude to all who joined Annual Walk4Water4. It is thankful for all the help it received to bring water to African communities in partnership with Water4.  

Water4 

According to its website, Water4 is an Oklahoma City-based international non-profit organization. It utilizes faith, innovation, and empowerment to make the world a place where all people can access safe water. 

Water4 also shared information from USAID stating women and kids in the developing world walk an average of 3.7 miles (6 km) per day to collect water.

Furthermore, Water4 empowers local entrepreneurs in developing countries to provide everyone with sustainable, safe water access. The organization works with others to deliver safe water to every home, school, and clinic. 

Its efforts bring the solution to local water problems into the hands of locals. The organization ensures that locals can sustain safe water access through local resources.

Water4 and its partners have impacted the lives of more than 1.8 million people in over 30 countries since 2008. It provided access to safe and living water.

Mountain Ridge Church will have its Mega Awesome Costume Party on Sunday, Oct. 30. It will begin at 9 a.m. and end at noon. It encouraged all to join this event in Elevate Kids. 

Mountain Ridge Church asked all parents to dress their kids in their favorite and not-so-scary costumes. It also encouraged all to invite families and friends to this event.
