NPHX Church offers a connect group called "Prepare and Enrich" for pre- engage and engaged couples every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.

The church’s website announced that it would be an excellent opportunity for couples to learn principles, ideas, and best practices for working and sustaining healthy marriages.

Besides, they posted that it would be a seven-week class discussion on various topics on building solid relationships.

Some topics include communication, conflict resolution, and knowing their personality. 

As further noted, couples could learn how to manage their finances and discover the Five Love Languages.

Connecting with Groups

In another section, NPHX Church believed that living “life-on-life” with others in a community has no replacement. They explained that they want every church member to become a part of a dedicated Connect Group.

According to the website, they could see that God created man to live in a community with others, based on the creation story in Genesis. They emphasized that God made people rational beings and established a community.

Moreover, they stated that people had witnessed life modeled for them regardless of their background. The church added that they have something in them that tells them how to live life as followers of Jesus.

In addition, NPHX Church believes that God called them to live in a community with others to motivate and support each other’s burdens. 

The website emphasized that they all belong to one Body working together to help them become what God intends them to be.

Conversations for Engaged Couples

The For Your Marriage website revealed that any discussions that could be different with the partner could lead to severe disagreements once their first excitement as a newlywed couple becomes the comfort of secure love.

As further noted, before getting married, the engaged couples must have conversations about various topics such as Spirituality or religious belief. They added that they needed to discuss how they could solve arguments and conflicts. 

In addition, the website said they should talk about their careers before getting married. 

Issues on finances and intimacy of cohabitation are also a part of the conversation before saying I Do at the altar, as mentioned on the website. 

The website said engaged couples should discuss having children and how they would apply to parents.

Role of Marriage in Church

In another section, the church cannot emerge without Christian marriage. They explained that the church is fully active in the history of every Christian marriage. They added that victories, failures, and suffering builds marriage.

As further explained, the union is holy that established the community of the Church and society. The website noted that when a Christian couple got married, they joined in the missionary life of the Church.
