City View Church ends the month of July with an exciting All Church Ice Cream and Game Night on July 27 at 6:30 p.m in the church’s Fellowship Center and outdoors for yard games.
The church's Facebook page mentioned that members may join the homemade ice cream competition or enjoy the ice cream they would provide.
Every Person Counts
The church's vision is to create a church where every individual counts as they reach their city and the world with the truth of God’s love, as posted on their Vision webpage. They added that they seek to connect to their city and build their church community. The church also aims to impact the world by being loving followers of Jesus.
As part of their core values, the church mentioned that all people are vital to God and them. They desire to help people know the joy of God’s salvation and experience what it means to become passionate believers of Jesus Christ.
The website also added that they want all individuals to realize that God has made them for extraordinary acts of ministry. The church stated they have different programs and services to do their goal as part of their evangelism.
Discipleship and Servanthood
In line with their core values, the church website also noted that their worship of God is about becoming disciples of Jesus Christ. The church said they are helping individuals enrich their faith, which is the heart of everything they do.
They also intended their ministries, Bible Electives, and small groups for the members to learn Biblical Truths. Through its programs, the church could also teach values and characteristics that will change people’s lives, marriages, and neighborhoods. They said that these people could have an excellent reflection of Jesus.
Meanwhile, the church also believes in servanthood. They mentioned that they think training individuals is devoted to serving. It is one way to experience what Jesus has allowed them to do for the church and the world. They added that they desire people to have a strong passion for loving their community, peers, and the world.
Connect Groups
The church revealed on its Connect Groups page that there are many people at City View, and getting familiar with them could be challenging. They admitted that newcomers could feel like everyone is already comfortable with each other.
With this, the church created connect groups. They said these small groups help attendees know people and find a place to belong. The church posted that they have groups designed from life stages to life interests. They also have a group intended for new believers and long-time followers.
The church offers Sunday morning groups for a great chance to meet others. They could start their day with a fresh cup of coffee and breakfast snacks. The website noted that they have a friendly environment to share people’s lives in a faith community.
The website also posted that their Adults could attend their Real Life Class or Colossians Class.
