Community Bible Church invites its congregation to join the All Church Hike at Annies Canyon Trail on June 11 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

The church announcement posted that those interested could meet the team at the church at 7:30 a.m.

They could carpool, or they could go directly to the venue at the set time of the meeting. They reminded church members to bring their hats, sunscreen, and walking shoes.

Also, participants should bring their own water and snacks.

They added that for more information, they would include it on their flyers at the Welcome Center.

Annie’s Canyon Trail

The Nature Collective Website revealed that a resident named Annie led the redemption efforts of the Canyon Trail, which is why it was named after her. Those who want to experience the said trail must keep an eye on the Maritime Terraces, as posted on the said website. They noted that these terraces look like a massive staircases, each highlighting a flat plateau at the top.

Another feature they mentioned is that hikers must see the beauty of the natural erosion on the canyon walls. The rain created these walls for thousands of years. Also, they said that they would witness a fantastic view of the Pacific Ocean and Central Basin.

Every Member, Minister

“Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ,” says the book of Colossians 1:28

According to the church’s mission and vision section, CBC’s philosophy flows from the perception of God’s glory revealed in Jesus Christ.

They said the church exists to live out this vision in worship.

Also, they believe they are designed to empower God's image in nature and education. The church aims to share the same vision through evangelism and doing missions.

They added that they do all their initiatives to bring glory to God.

Moreover, the webpage stated that they seek to establish a community with other followers of Christ based on genuine relationships with God and each other. They proclaim God’s scripture as authority. The church also emphasized that its priority is to worship the Lord. Besides, they needed fellowship and thought that serving others was their responsibility.

The church supports its vision by focusing on three distinct areas. These areas include evangelism, passion, instruction, and change.

More about CBC

More importantly, the exact webpage revealed that they are different from many churches since they aim to help believers grow and not just fill a seat. They highlighted that they accomplished their goal by expositional training and preaching the Scripture. They also conduct biblical counseling, small groups, and discipleship, as posted on their website.

The church noted that its vision is founded in the Bible, and its mission statement shows the purity of each body member doing their purpose. Besides, they proudly posted that they are governed by their core values and God’s word. They want their church to show the pattern laid out in the Scripture and be described as faithful.
