Crosspointe Life Church hosted The Table to serve a dinner meal for the community, whether church members or not, last July 27, Wednesday, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The church’s Facebook post stated they wanted to use this opportunity to meet new friends. They encouraged members and non-members to join and eat with them while meeting new people.

They also informed its neighbors that they do not need to attend their church to participate in the said free dinner. It is about relationship-building, as posted on the church’s post, and it is for all, whether they have financial struggles.

Serving Community

Crosspointe Life Church's website revealed that the Spanish term for “La Mesa” is “the table.” As further explained on its website, people meet at the table to eat, talk, and establish a good relationship.

The church named one of its programs “The Table,” to connect with their neighborhood. They noted that they host The Table every last Tuesday of every month from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Another church initiative is Crosspointe’s Food ministry. The same website noted that their food depends on what they get from the grocery stores. They added that this program is every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

As further noted on the website, participants could only join once a week, which means that if they attended on Tuesday, they could not participate on Thursday. Besides, the website stated that Crosspointe Life Church conducts big food drives every fourth Saturday.

According to them, they do not have food drives in November and December.

Welcoming Newcomers

Crosspointe Life Church's Lead Pastor, Craig Osborne, mentioned on their “New Here” page that their church is a place for those looking for a good church. He noted that the church would love to get to know those who have never been to their church.

Osborne also stated that as a church, they desire to witness lives being transformed through Jesus. He said they see it happening every week when someone enters their door.

On the same webpage, Crosspointe Life Church defines who they are. The church emphasized that they are strengthening people and helping them achieve their purpose. According to the website, the church also wants to leave a legacy of assisting people to become all God designed them to be.

Crosspointe also mentioned that they look forward to training future generations to continue the ministry of Jesus and to excel in this work.

Church Member’s Feedback

The same website revealed that Crystal Brown, one of the church’s members, said she felt at home immediately after they visited Crosspointe Life Church.

As further explained, it was nine years ago when they reallocated to San Diego. She noted that the first church they visited was the Crosspointe and that they met some of the most amazing people.

Brown mentioned that the church helped her mature in her daily journey with God.

“I don’t know where my family and I would be if we had been at a different church,” she added on the website.
