Some of their fellowship activities; eating Kettle Corn, Ice Cream Sandwiches, and Churros. Also, they had a Corn hole tournament on the second evening of the said event.
Speakers
One of the speakers was Pastor Robert Herber. The website informed that his life was upside down when an ordinary college student introduced the love of Jesus. He realized that he could have a real relationship with God. Then, Herber served as the College Pastor and US Church Planting Director for Antioch Community Church in Waco, Texas.
He served in Waco for almost ten years. The pastor and his small group of friends moved to San Diego to plant All Peoples Church without knowing anyone. They also highlighted that by God’s grace, the small group of students that began meeting in his house has grown into a large multi-ethnic church.
Besides, the website said that Herber’s passion is to see people united with the love of God. That would change them, the nation, and the world.
Another Speaker for the said conference was Pastor John Hoffman. He was the founding pastor of Grove Church in Mission Valley. The website informed that he served as a student ministry pastor at Foothills Christian Church for 16 years. Hoffman studied at San Diego State University. Then he got his master' Degree in Theology from Bethel Seminary San Diego.
In 1989, Hoffman married his high school sweetheart and the principal of Foothills Elementary, Gina. God blessed them with three amazing sons and three wonderful daughters-in-law. They stated that serving the Lord together at Grove Church is one of their greatest blessings.
The last speaker they mentioned was Pastor Mike Van Meter who has been a staff at Foothills Christian Church for over 20 years. They added that as an associate pastor Meter’s passion is to help students, young adults, and men to discover the power and joy of living for God. His wife’s name is Hannah and they have five energetic children, as stated in the announcement.
