Foothills Christian Church hosts First Annual

The men of Foothills Christian Church joined in the First Annual Corn Hole Tournament on June 22 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Foothills Gym.

The church's Facebook page posted that men do not need a partner; they just need to show up and throw bags with them. They added that male members would have a great time.

Men’s Ministry at Foothills

The Men’s Ministry section mentioned that this program would equip male congregants to mature in their journey with the Lord. They said the church is also dedicated to training men to grow in their marriages, families, and relationships with other men. Through this ministry, members would also learn how they could serve the Body of Christ.

In this program, the church offers Men’s Leadership Mentoring. They noted that a mentor is the one who accompanies male members and can share the ups and downs of their life while motivating them. Mentors are also provided so they can share the love of Jesus and guide men with mutual respect, as posted on the webpage.

Besides, the said ministry has Multiply Movement Men’s Bible Study Discipleship, created to challenge men to learn intensively from God’s word. The website said that this study is for them to help members apply God’s scripture to their lives and experience His promises.

They added that it is a training rooted in Francis Chan's book. They gather as a group and one-on-one every Saturday at 7 a.m.

Men’s Victory, Conquer

The exact section revealed that at Men’s Ministry, they have a support system for men who are pursuing God’s victory in the fight for sexual righteousness. They added that the Pure Desire group is confidential and requires orientation procedures that participants must finish before joining the team.

As of now, the church noted that the said program is only limited to their male attendees. They meet on weekday evenings and on Sundays during the first service.

Moreover, the church also offers the Men’s Conquer Series. It is a seven-week video series where 88 countries are participating in the program. They added that the video series and workbook study is based on the Bible with proven approaches and practical resources discussed to assist men to walk in purity and freedom.

The church invites men to know how to help other men who are suffering from sexual addictions. They said this activity is an absolute must for biblically sound leadership for men today.

Other Men’s Activities

The website also posted various activities designed for men. Every quarter on Monday evenings, guys gather to have fellowship and a movie night. They hear a motivational message while having a BBQ steak for dinner. There would also be a free movie, popcorn, and drinks.

Meanwhile, the church also believes that every believer needs a community of guys with the same values, goals, and vision for God’s plan. They noted that Band of Brothers is for all the men of Foothills to have a fellowship and talk about what it means to live as a man of God.

In this men’s monthly breakfast, they worship, listen to a short message, and spend time bonding. They hold this event every Saturday at 7 a.m., where the church provides a full complimentary breakfast.
