Horizon Christian Church encouraged its members to help at their block party on Saturday, Sept. 17, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Serra Messa.
The church’s website announced that it would work with the San Diego Sandwich Company as they celebrate their 47th anniversary. The event seeks to gather their neighborhood for a celebration, as added on the website.
Horizon Christian Fellowship emphasized that they would be giving out free lunches to the first 100 individuals. They added that there would also be carnival games and programs for the entire family.
The church also informed members that they could help in various areas. They mentioned that they could choose based on their preferences and sign up on the website.
San Diego Sandwich Company
According to the San Diego Sandwich Company website, they have been passionate about giving back to their neighborhood. They said that they allow schools to visit their shop. They show the students the ins and outs of the business, as further explained on the website.
Besides, as mentioned on the website, they allow the students to try their tasty fares. They added that the owner of Cindy gives teachers free ice cream coupons to give their behave and excellent students.
