Horizon Christian Fellowship will host a two-part session on the Bible-based six days of creation on Tuesdays, beginning on Nov. 29, at 6:30 p.m. at the church’s base camp.

The church announced they would also tackle how the Bible revealed that creation was completed within six days. During their class, they noted that there would be some video presentations and group discussions.

They posted that the next part would be on Dec. 6.

The church asked participants to bring their Bible, a notebook, and a pen.

God's Words

According to the Christianity website, God created something unique during the six days of creation. But, they emphasized that people should understand the most significant thing to consider during the world's design.

The website noted that everything that “God said” happened.

As further explained, the Scripture from Hebrews 11:3 states that through faith, people could understand that God created the entire universe through His command. The Scripture added that everything humans could see did not come from anything that could be seen.

Another Scripture highlighted on the website is Psalm 33:6, which says, By God’s word, He made the heavens and their starry host. Besides, in Psalm 33:9, the Bible says When God spoke, He made the world; by His command, everything emerged.

The website highlighted that God’s breath is powerful.

Six Working Days, One Rest Day

The same website revealed that God made the world in six days. Within those days, God made various things and rested on the seventh, as mentioned on the website.

They explained that people should consider the seventh day as part of the creation since God separated that day to be remarkable.

In Genesis 2:1-3, the Scripture stressed that by the seventh day, God rested from all his work. He blessed that day and made it sacred, as added to the Scripture. As further explained, God considered the seventh day holy because He rested from all the work of creation.

Thus, the website emphasized that the seventh day of creation was just as vital as the other six. They added rest is as significant as work.

Six Days of Creation

According to the Christianity website, the first day of creation is about God making light. They explained that he started the process by giving his energy out. They added that everything that emerges is made of light, even water.

Moreover, scientists affirmed that the universe is still expanding at the speed of light.

On the second day,  the website revealed that God created the “firmament,”  which is the arc that separated the earth from the heavens.

In addition, the website said that on the third day, God completed two things. First, He separated the land from the waters. Then, they noted that He made plants of every kind.

The website said God made the stars, moon, and sun in the last three days of Creation. Then He created more living creatures, such as birds and all creatures in the sea. Lastly, God made all kinds of animals.

As posted on the website, God made man in His image on the sixth day.
