Journey Community Church invited all of its members to watch the God at the Movies series every Friday at 6:30 p.m. and Sundays at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
The church’s announcement posted that the most remarkable series of all time started on Sept. 30 and would end on Oct. 30. They added that they would have various activities every week such as interaction, concessions stand helping the youth ministries, etc.
Moreover, Journey Community Church would also replay the series online every Sunday morning. They said that they would also air it on Wednesday evening.
Due to copyright limitations, the church members could not watch it on watch on-demand after the stream ended, as posted on the website.
Way of Communicating
The same website mentioned that movies have a unique way of communicating compared to other art forms. The Journey Community Church emphasized that through film, people could learn powerful stories of people.
As further explained, movies could be a great way to experience God. They added that some filmmakers might not be are, but they could find God’s hands all over their stories.
With this, the church announced they would take some famous movies from previous years and find God in the films. As further mentioned, the church would show the members some clips and plot themes to the members.
Besides, they mentioned that the messages would be relevant to the themes presented in the featured films.
