Kairos Church announced that they would begin the ALPHA class once a group of six or more registered. They hope to start the course by the end of this month to finish it on July 17.

The church events section informed members that it would be a six-week session focusing on Christianity's values and foundations. They encourage each member to participate if they are looking for ways to have a deeper connection with God.

Besides, they plan to meet every Thursday night at the Bantigue residence. They would also offer dinner. The church posted that those interested could contact Vince Batigue on his e-mail for more information.

Kairos Community Group

According to the Kairos Community Group webpage, the church believes it is crucial for their church family to know and be known by others. They stated that their community teams normally gather on a weeknight in a house around San Diego and have different focuses. Some of them hold bible study, and some would have a reflection on the Sunday Sermon.

Meanwhile, some members discover the vital question about the Christian belief. Others, on the other hand, explore how the gospel changes their entire being. They also said that they pray for one another and serve together. They also seek ways to love and care for each other as Jesus commanded them.

The church hopes their congregation may feel a sense of belonging and consider participating in their community groups. Their groups include Life Group for both men and women, Kairos 101 as a part of their membership process, and Friday Night Bible study. Then they also have the ALPHA group for the Christian foundation.

Why Study Beliefs of Christianity

The Blue Letter Bible website reveals why people need to know the foundations of Christianity. They noted that everyone must thoroughly study Christian doctrine or teaching. First, it is because people have intellectual needs.

The website stated that since people are rational and emotional beings, they need a rational understanding of the things of God. They added that to deal with these needs. One must understand Christian doctrine and recognize that Jesus is the truth.

Another factor they mentioned is that the Bible alone provides answers to people’s ultimate questions.

The website explained that everyone believes in something. An individual will live their life based on what they think. Life is a journey from time to eternity, as posted on their website.

Consequently, it creates a considerable difference whether one believes life is a pointless and meaningless experience or thinks there is a personal God who has a purpose for everyone beyond this life.

The website stated that as long as people think about questions about God’s existence and the meaning of life, it is necessary to have biblical answers to these questions. Additionally, they stated that people always need Christian doctrine or teaching if individuals want to learn who they are, what life is about, and what happens after death.

They emphasized that studying God’s scripture would answer these questions with finality: there is no other place to look for authoritative answers.
