Makers Church invites its congregation to join the First Yearly Families Camping Trip at El Prado Campground in the Laguna Mountains from July 29 to July 31.
The church's events section noted that the campground sits 5,600 ft. in the Laguna Mountains. It is surrounded by pines and oaks that give plenty of shade. The website added that there are great hiking and mountain biking trails all around.
The activities can give a wonderful experience for great outdoors for all fitness levels. They mentioned that they only allow tent camping. Besides, the church said they would host a unique church fellowship at the campsite on Sunday morning for all the camping guests.
El Prado
According to the Recreation website, El Prado Group Campground is a beautiful mountain retreat one hour east of San Diego, California. They stated that it is a recreation area where campers could enjoy cooler weather. It has particular natural areas and an extensive trail system from summer through early fall.
Moreover, the campground comprises five well-spaced group sites in a quiet atmosphere adjacent to Laguna Compound. One of the group areas is the Yerba Santa. The website said that it is accessible and has four tent sites. Also, each area could accommodate between 30 to 50 individuals.
Besides, the facility gives drinking water and flush and vault toilets. They also featured their ample parking space. To protect the habitat of the endangered Laguna Skipper butterfly, the organizers fenced off some parts of the campground.
They also requested their guests to respect the fenced boundary and follow the maximum site allowed.
Recreation
The website also revealed that the Laguna Mountain Recreation Area is famous for excellent horseback riding, mountain biking, and hiking trails. Additionally, campers could get their boots dusty on the Laguna Meadow Trail system. They could also avail a segment of the 2,650-mile Pacific Crest Trail, which runs from Mexico through California and north to Canada.
Moreover, they stated that they created the campground, El Prado Cabin, in 1911. It was the first Ranger’s cabin in the Cleveland National Forest. The website also features this historical feature in the campground.
They said families can discover the area’s flora and fauna by joining the nearby Laguna Campground educational programs. Some recreational places they could visit are the Group Tent Only Area Nonelectric and the Group Standard Nonelectric. Participants could also stay at the Overnight Recreation site.
Families may also enjoy various activities at the campsite. They could go on hiking, birding, and camping. Besides, they could enjoy cultural activities and visit historical and cultural sites.
The website posted that their visitors could go on horseback riding or mountain biking. Those who love to see nature could also avail themselves of their Scenic Driving or visit their Wildlife viewing.

The visitors may enjoy a lot of facilities in the area. They have very accessible campsites, drinking water, and vault toilets. The website also posted that they allow pets in their area. Their guests could also enjoy picnics, campfire circles, and campfire rings.
They added that they have paved parking, pathways, roads, and sites that would be convenient for their visitors.
