Saddleback Church excited to host Saddleback

Saddleback Church anticipates holding the first Saddleback San Diego Singles Night on July 15 at the church’s Ministry Center as they created Singles Ministry.

The church's events section announced that it would be a time for fun, fellowship, food, and faith with their single members. They have enthusiastic leaders for each group that would impress the participants. They also noted that the groups are arranged from ’20s-’30s, ’40s, ’50s, and 60 years old and above.

Besides, they posted that no one would be left out in the said ministry. The church scheduled their gathering every Friday night. They asked interested congregants to register earlier so they could prepare enough food for everyone.

The website also encouraged members to invite their friends to join the said program. It would be a night of making friends and a lot of fun, as the church mentioned.

Saddleback Singles

The church’s Singles webpage revealed that they are a community of single men and women of various ages. They are passionate about pursuing a connection with Jesus by doing God’s plans for their life.

The website noted that they also welcome those who have never been married, divorced, widowed, and a single parent. The church emphasized that Saddleback Singles is a home where they could know others and be known.

As part of the said ministry, they offer Singles Small groups. They said they could join various types of groups related to singlehood. Besides, the church also hosts Single Community events.

As part of the church’s program, the Support groups section posted that they offer counseling to deal with the needs of its single members who suffered from Divorce. They also give hope to the separated woman and man. Then they provide counseling to support the widows.

Relational Skills: Find the Love of Your Life

According to Rick Warren on the church’s Youtube video on Sep 26, 2017, they have over 30,000 single adults. He noted that he does not want them to make mistakes in choosing the right person to save them from a lot of pain.

Warren noted that there would be two most vital questions for people in life. First is if they would ever get married, and secondly, if they would decide to marry, who will it be. He quoted the Bible verse from Proverbs 12:26, which says, “The righteous chooses his friends carefully.” He added that if people decide on their friends, they should be more careful in determining who would be their life partner.

Warren added that many people end up in the wrong marriage for the wrong reason. In his preaching, he provided some guidelines from the Bible of the things that people should have, and the other person should have to marry them.

God has given some of the minimum requirements to save His people from pain. The first list Warren mentioned is that couples should have spiritual unity. It means they believe in the same thing about God. He emphasized that if a person is not spiritually unified with their spouse, they would never enjoy the physical, sexual, and emotional intimacy God desired for their marriage.
