Newbreak has collaborated with Global Family’s Daughter Project to provide yearly funding for one home in Nepal as part of their Kingdom Builders Ministry. The church invites members to provide safe housing for trafficked victims.

The church website informed that every year there were 7,000 girls as young as eight were trafficked from Nepal to India and sold for as little as $15. Global Family saves victims of trafficking by giving them immediate homes, assessment, medical care, and legal care, the church added. 

They also stated that 95% of the girls they rescued returned home, while the others were placed in a long-term family care home known as The Daughter Project. In this program, girls grow up in a house setting and attend school, as they mentioned. 

Kingdom Builders

“Your Kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven," is highlighted on the church’s website.

The church works with several partners and projects to bring God’s love and His message of hope to the world. They stated that they advance social justice by responding to the call to fight the inequalities and wrongs experienced by various individuals and communities with access to basic needs. 

More importantly, they mentioned that their efforts to enrich future Christian leaders range from strengthening the next generation of missionaries and Chrisitan leaders to reaching the local and global church through church planting, parenting, and mentoring leaders.

Pastor Robert Wachs, the church’s lead pastor, stated that one of the things he loves most about Newbreak Church is the heart to serve communities. That passion of those who call Newbreak home has never been more evident than this past year when, amidst the global pandemic, the church nearly doubled Kingdom Builders giving over the prior year, Wachs added.

In addition, Wachs said his prayer is that more members could join them in 2021 to do even more in building more houses, providing more families with drinking water, and educating more children. Also, he prayed to do more in freeing more women from human trafficking and reaching even more individuals with the love of Jesus.

The Global Family; Daughter Project

As stated on their website, the Global Family Care Network is a non-profit organization that works to prevent and implement models to deal with systematic abuse and exploitation, including prevention, intervention, and aftercare programs.

Furthermore, the said organization’s mission is to preserve the family and protect at-risk young people with the help of community groups, volunteer caregivers, and donors, as posted on their website.

The organization informs that the Daughter Project is a holistic and asset-based approach that considers the need for awareness learning, economic development, rescue intervention, and long-term care of girls.

They also stated that the focus of the Daughter Project is the belief and conviction that each young lady is as valuable as their daughter. For this reason, they place their most significant emphasis on prevention because they want to secure these daughters from being in danger, taken, lured away, and abused.

The said program mentioned that their community action committees are dedicated to fighting against human trafficking in their communities and overseas. These committees are partnered with sister projects and clubs worldwide that they support and receive updates from.
