Ocean View Church opened “Fall LIFEgroups 2022” to help its members' growth. The event is held on Wednesdays, which began on Sept. 7, and will last until Oct. 12.

The church’s announcement posted that they would have a small group setting as the members dig deeper into specific truths in the Bible. It mentioned various events to connect with others this fall.

Wednesday Meetings

The same website posted that the Ocean View Church opened a group for young mothers. They named it “Young Mom Take a Break, Women” group, wherein they gather every Wednesday morning at the church’s worship center.

As further explained, Christa Boschen is leading the group for young moms. They noted that they desire to motivate women in this journey as they walk with Jesus. They also said they want to help them deal with their marriage, family, and other mothers at Ocean View.

Moreover, the church also offers opportunities for male members to grow in their faith. They noted that Pastor Steve Boschen leads the Quest for Authentic Manhood.

According to the website, men who fear the Lord rejects passivity and takes accountability. They added that men of God are courageous as they find God’s glory. The website explained that this group is discovering Paul’s letter to the church in Colossae.

Wednesdays for Men, Women

Meanwhile, Ocean View Church also offers a group for caring for those who have undergone divorce or separation. They said on the website that this gathering is for both male and female members.

They added that Ian and Paula Busch led the team to find healing. In this group, the church desires to help them through counseling. They want to guide them in dealing with the emotional impact of separation.

The website emphasized that the church provides resources for decision-making.

In addition, the church has a Military for men and women. In this group, they are breaking down and implementing God's word to their particular needs and calling. The website stated that their group leaders are Michael and Karen Gadwa.

Thursday’s Open Groups

On the other hand, the church gives chances to those who want to pursue their relationship with their spouse. Ocean View Church encouraged couples to join this group to have a stronger connection with their partners.

Another small group of women is studying the Book of Colossians. They meet every Thursday morning with their group leader, Christa Boschen.

For those interested in becoming responsible stewards of God’s resources, the church opens Financial Peace Universit. The same website emphasized that joining this group could help members be accountable for God’s financial provision.

As for other languages, the church posted that Classes en Español is for Spanish counseling for marriage, discipleships, and the life of mothers.

Growing larger, smaller

Rick Warren posted on the Pastor’s website that a healthy church is about getting bigger and smaller simultaneously. He explained that churches should be more extensive in their celebration service and worship.

However, he emphasized that they should be smaller through small teams.

Warren emphasized the book of Acts 5:42, where people grew in their spiritual life as they committed themselves to the apostle’s teaching. The website further explains that the church members also allot their time in gatherings as they worship together.
