Women of The Point Loma Community Presbyterian Church are invited to participate in Women Connecting Dinner with an inspirational message from Christine DiGiacomo on May 4 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Church’s Family Center.

The church website announced that participants would learn the Fifteen Most Important 15 minutes of their Day.  The said gathering is also to have an evening of fellowship to catch up with friends and enjoy wine and good food.

Meet Christine DiGiacomo

Christine DiGiacomo was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Then she relocated with her family to Southern California in August 2000, as mentioned on the PastorWoman Corp. website. They added that she has served as the Director of Women’s Ministries. Also, she worked on the pastoral staff at a non-denominational church in San Clemente.

DiGiacomo stated that she desires to see women learn and live out their purpose given by God. She said that it was a thrilling experience, and she was often able to use her learnings when she was an elementary and high school teacher.

Besides working and raising her kids, she led and wrote Bible studies for almost 25 years. She said she felt that God called her to enter the business world. She became the corporate pastor of an international company in Southern California. DiGiacomo mentioned that she started to write “Morning Briefings,” daily Bible commentaries sent through e-mail five days a week, and discipling the leaders of the company.

Taking It to the World

She also highlighted that God asked her to take the next step globally on the said website. Through the advancement of today’s technology and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, she has taken these daily writings and expanded His words throughout 146 countries, she stated.

Currently, DiGiacomo is the executive director of PastorWoman Corp, a ministry designed to share the love and Word of God both locally and globally through the Internet. The website emphasized that she was dedicated to living the journey of the Christian life to the fullest. She also encourages others to follow through with Bible teaching and robust community outreach.

Women at Point Loma

Aside from the said gathering, the church also invites its women members to join other activities designed for them. The church website announced various activities such as their Women’s Bible Study every Tuesday morning, either face-to-face or via Zoom, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Then, they have a particular program for moms with children of school age or younger called Mother of Preschoolers (MOPS). The said group is intended to help and motivate mothers by listening to inspiring speakers. They do this meeting every Tuesday at 7 p.m.; via Zoom.

The church also provides Ladie’s Book Study, which is open to women ages 20 to 40. Pastor Karla leads the said class, and it will resume this May. They will study the book “The Listening Life: Embracing Attentiveness in a World of Distraction” by Adam S. McHugh.

Lastly, women at Point Loma Chruch are invited to join online as they conduct a Community Bible Study every Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. They enjoy having small group discussions and lectures for women of all ages and backgrounds.
