The Restoration Church invites new attendees and those still looking for their place to get more involved to join the NEXT after their Sunday Service on May 1, the first Sunday of the month at the San Diego Campus.

According to the church’s website, NEXT is an informal meeting where participants can meet some great people and learn more about their mission, vision, values, and culture as a church. The said program is designed to assist newbies and those who want to be part of their family  in moving beyond not just being a “church-goer.”

Besides, the church added that the said gathering is to equip new attendees with the tools necessary to enter into the journey of becoming Jesus’ followers. They also informed them that they included lunch and that their childcare is available.

The said program started on February 6, 2022, and is held every first Sunday of every month.

Church They See

The church's mission is to strengthen all individuals to love and follow Jesus, posted on their website.

In support of this on their YouTube video,  Katie Duggleby, the church’s Spiritual Formation Leader, said the Restoration is a transformation in the direction of beauty and wholeness. She added that people in all parts of the world are hungry after giving their life to God. She stated that the church believes that the human soul yearns to be entirely alive and free, which could only be found in Jesus.

Besides, she emphasized that they see a church for all people. They see their church as a safe place for those who have doubts and questions to be part of a conversation based on faith and life in God. They see an empowering church that unleashes and equips individuals in every stage, age, and generation to help build the kingdom here on earth.

More importantly, Duggleby mentioned that they see a big enough church to reach the world but small enough to feel like home. Kurt Duggleby, the church leader for teaching and strategy, also stated that they see a church that is a beacon of life that does not only inform people but transforms lives. They see a home where the hurting and the broken can find hope and healing. They also foresee a place where individuals, marriages, and families are healthy and fully restored.

Church Beliefs

They believe what Jesus said He is, and they would follow what Jesus wants them to do. The church website mentioned that they have unity and freedom. They also added that they care for their community.

Moreover, they believe that the church is the body of Christ in the world. It was created to glorify God and show His power and love. They also mentioned that the church is made to bring restoration of all things. They said that it is not limited to the building or denomination but includes all individuals who believed in Jesus.

At Restoration Church, they welcome their community's unique aspects and celebrate how God moves worldwide.
