Men’s Ministry at Point Loma

The same website posted that Point Loma Presbyterian Church invites men to join their gathering and Bible study every Wednesday at 5 p.m. They noted that they are meeting via Zoom meeting or Parlor.

Point Loma Presbyterian Church said the male members are currently learning the book of Isaiah.

Meanwhile, the church also posted that the men’s ministry meets every Monday morning for a casual get-together. They mentioned that this online meeting is designed for making friends and building relationships.

In addition, the church emphasized that they also have “The Granpa Group,” wherein retired guys gather every Tuesday in the Library. As further explained, these retired guys are having coffee fellowship and discussing various topics like families and dreams.

Sometimes, they also meet to pray and study the Scripture. The church has now announced that the Granpa group is meeting online.

National Football League’s History

The Britannica website revealed the competition started in 1920. At that time, only five teams from Ohio were posted on the website. They added four competitors from Illinois.

The website stated that two New York and Indiana teams had joined the NFL. As further explained, among the primary franchises, only two of them remained until now. They said that the Cardinals represented St. Louis after the 1959 season.

Moreover, in 1988, the Cardinals represented Arizona, as the website reveals. Meanwhile, they mentioned that in 1959, the Decatur Staleys transferred to Chicago. They added that they moved after changing their name to Bears after a year.

More importantly, the website said that NFL competitions from rival organizations became the compelling American professional football league. As further explained, the American Football League (AFL) merged in 1970.

Through this partnership, they emphasized that they had created a 26-team circuit under the name of the previous NFL. The website stated that the league had become four times bigger and had an additional six franchises.

Honoring Roots

The NFL website stated that to celebrate its 100th season, they want to honor the 13 original towns and 14 charter teams that pioneered the NFL.

They said they wanted to acknowledge where the founders first built their league. As further explained, the NFL was planned because of the help of youth and high school football donations. They added that the towns also assisted in building their turf field in Dayton, Ohio.
