Bikers and non-bikers are encouraged to join the Motorcycle Ministry: Wednesday Night and the Word on May 25 from 6:45 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Mission Valley Shopping Center near Nordstrom Rack, outside in the public seating area.
The church announcement mentioned that those who want to join without having a motorcycle or who do not know how to ride are still welcome to join.
Motorcycle Ministry
According to the church’s website, the Motorcycle Ministry is designed to maximize gatherings among believers who are motorcyclists. Also, it existed to reach the unbelievers by spreading the Love of Jesus. The website added that they aim to nurture believers and non-believers’ chances to share their same interest in motorcycles through meetings, rides, and other programs.
Moreover, the TWENTY7 Riders Ministry is a fellowship of motorcycle enthusiasts. They like to share the love of God and their love for their motorcycles with the community. The website noted that they work hard to live for God and help others.
They quoted the verse from Proverbs 27:17 that says, “You utilize steel to sharpen steel, and one companion sharpens another.”
The said ministry also stated that they are not a club and do not have a patch, but a ministry and a logo.
Monthly Fellowship Ride
The Motorcycle Ministry Facebook group posted that they held their Monthly Fellowship Ride on May 21 at the Bonita Libary parking lot.
Moreover, they noted on the church’s website that their ride for May would be a nice coastal ride going up to Oceanside. The participants drank coffee and studied the word of God at Bonita Library. After lunch at Oceanside, the website mentioned that some riders could go home or join others to watch the motorcycle show at Biggs Harley in Vista.
The same website noted that the motorcycle ministry holds its Monthly Fellowship Ride every third Saturday. This event is their opportunity to have fellowship, ride, and experience God’s glory. The church added that they serve and make friends with everyone they meet along their way so they can see the love of Christ.
They announced that they welcome everyone interested to join their ride as long as participants’ motorcycle or scooter is legal. They should also have an updated license, insurance, and registration.
They also highlighted that usually, at the end of their rides, they would stop somewhere for lunch and bond. They said that those interested must check out their events every month as they update their ride information.
Activities Other than Rides
Aside from their love for motorcycles, they are also trying to help their community. The church’s website revealed that the said ministry sponsors or holds a ride annually during Christmas. The rider and passenger registration fee is a brand new, unwrapped toy.
They would donate these toys to a local drive to give them to those children in need. They also used funds to pay for the expenses to host the ride and meet & greet afterward.
Moreover, they want to create a “Downed Biker Fund” to assist bikers who have been in accidents and need support with medicine, food, etc.
