Saddleback Church announced its "Acceleration" initiatives that aim to expand God’s kingdom starting at the end of December.

The church’s Facebook page noted that it would focus on five efforts to expand its faith.

They mentioned that they would train future leaders as they extend PEAC Relief Efforts.

The church emphasized that they desired to accomplish the Great Commission.

According to the post, members could help widen God’s kingdom by investing in their campuses, planting churches, and reaching out to people beyond their borders.

As further explained, the donations would proceed to building new campuses and supporting church plants in areas out of reach in the city and worldwide.

The church said it could expand its capacity to connect with its international campuses through these supports.

Accelerate Offering

Pastor Andy Wood, the Lead Pastor of Saddleback Church, emphasized in his letter that they would have an Accelerate Offering in 2023. He explained that in the church’s past activities, they had completed the year with three particular chances to give beyond their regular offering.

He noted that members could give above and beyond for their Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Year End Offering. However, by the end of December, they would start the Acceleration Offering.

In his letter, he explained that this offering would help them fund their five strategic efforts to bring more people to God. These charitable efforts could also help them achieve their God-given vision faster, as mentioned on the website.

More than Money

Moreover, Pastor Wood emphasized that getting involved in their Acceleration Offering is far more than financial giving. He said members could expand their hearts and grow in their faith journeys by participating in this project.

He noted that it is making an impact worldwide together as a church. In his letter, he also mentioned that being part of the Acceleration initiatives is about trusting their resources and lives to Jesus.

In addition, Pastor Wood noted that the expansion of God’s Kingdom here on earth is the ultimate goal of this project.

More importantly, in his letter, the pastor encouraged members to be part of this sacrificial gift from God. He advised them to pray and ask God to lead them on how they could be part of the Acceleration project.

Pastor Wood said they should trust God for the miracles that await them in 2023. He hopes it will be a year of transformed lives and growing bolder of their faith.

Expansion of God’s Kingdom

In another section, Saddleback Church explained that through giving in their Acceleration Offering, they could build their brand new Irvine South regional campus.

As added on the website, they could support church planting efforts in places that are difficult to access in the country.

Also, they posted that their Acceleration offering could allow the church to extend its mission in its international campuses in Buenos Aires and Santa Rosa campuses.
