San Diego First United Methodist Church (FUMC) hosted a "Blue Christmas" with Pastor Tamara Walker and Psychotherapist Shiela Cameron on Sunday, Dec. 18, at the church’s Trotter Chapel.
They recognized that some members are grieving for their loved ones and added that the spirit of the Christmas season could be very challenging and painful for them.
FUMC explained that Walker and Cameron led them to a peaceful Blue Christmas. They said they were accompanied by others who understand the uniqueness of missing a loved one this time of the year.
