Summit Point Church will host a two-day prophecy conference from Aug. 26 to Aug. 27, Friday to Saturday,  with Guy Rimestad, the Senior Pastor of Kern Valley Bible Church, at the Summit’s Worship Center.

The church’s announcement noted that there would be four sessions of the said gathering. The first session would be about the present age and rapture. Then they would also learn about the start of tribulation in the second session, as posted on the website.

They announced that participants would discover the Great Tribulation and the Second Coming of Jesus on the second day.

According to the program, there would also be questions and answers after discussing the two sessions.

The first two sessions would be in the evening, and then the last two would be held on Saturday morning of Aug. 27.

The announcement also informed those interested that there would be a $25 fee per head which covers all sessions, meals, and childcare for two days. The church offers care for children from infancy to grade five.

Summit Point’s Identity

The church’s “New here” page stressed that the church’s purpose centers on “helping people find and follow Jesus.” They explained that the church’s programs are intended to equip people to involve their household with the Gospel of God’s grace.

Moreover, the same website stated that Summit Point Church welcomes diversity. They said that their congregation consists of various races and generations. As further mentioned, members at Summit Point treat each other as a family.

Also, the website said that the church is an evangelical group of Believers ministering and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Church Situation during Last Days

During the Prophesy Conference, the church would discuss the last remaining days on earth and the coming of Jesus Christ. According to the Bible website, Paul mentioned in 2 Timothy that the last days would be “difficult times.”

As further revealed, there would be seasons of severe danger inspired by the devil. The church would also suffer violence during the last days, as noted on the website.

More importantly, the website stressed that the church would be filled with fake Followers of Jesus. In the scripture 2 Timothy 3:2-5, Paul wrote that people would be selfish and focused on loving themselves.

People being Evil

Summit Point Church noted that men would fall deeply in love with money. Some would be full of pride and arrogance, as written in the scripture. They added that some would speak against God and disrespect their parents.

The same scripture noted that people would be ungrateful and lose control. They would do things unpleasant to God, such as being reckless and unloving. The scripture stressed that people would choose to love something that could give them pleasure rather than loving God.

The website stressed that tough times would not be harmful because of the challenging situations but because of people doing evil things. The website notes that many people go to church and proclaim that they are Christians but look far different from Jesus, their Lord, and Saviour.

As further explained, these people attend church services, sing songs, give their tithes, and go on mission trips, but they have ungodly lives.
