The Central Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, Georgia, held Advent parish celebrations on Saturday, Nov. 20.

In a Facebook post on Friday, Nov. 19, the Central Presbyterian Church announced that the Advent parish celebrations took place on Saturday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The church invited the public to come to their local parish for wonderful celebrations and a chance to give, receive, and enjoy fellowships.

Church's COVID-19 Protocols

According to its website, the Central Presbyterian Church's worship and other gathering protocols have been reduced once again as the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) statistics data improves and vaccines for children aged five to eleven become available.

The church's website stated that on-site registration for meetings and activities is no longer required, and online pre-registration for Sunday service is no longer required.

According to the church, the extra components would be introduced to the worship experience in January, pending the continuance of the declining trend in COVID-19 infections and deaths.

According to the church's website, starting Jan. 2, 2022, it plans to provide a nursery for the Central Presbyterian Church's youngest members every Sunday morning.

According to the church, masks must be worn on campus, and distancing must continue to be practiced. Attendees were encouraged to stay at home if they had a fever or were otherwise sick.

The church also thanked the public for their patience and cooperation as the virus spread.

The Central Presbyterian Church in Atlanta has called for Central Christmas images from families and congregation members to be included in a special edition of the "12 Days of Giving" booklet this year.

The Central Presbyterian Church asked the public to send their favorite Central Christmas images in this year's Christmas catalog in a Facebook post on Sunday, Nov. 7.

The church said the public is encouraged to share their memorable photos from the Advent candle lighting up to the Children's Christmas pageant.

The Central Presbyterian Church emphasized its desire to share the joy it has had with others.
