The public is encouraged to email Dr. Thrasher with any questions at pastor@embryhillsumc.org, according to the church.

The church issued a warning that no one from the organization will approach members of the public and demand cash or gift cards. It was made clear that anyone who was subjected to such demands had the option of choosing to delete the message and informing the church officials of their choice.

Other Activities

Embry Hills United Methodist Church said its Advent community service project is a long-standing tradition and a simple way to meet the people.

The church asserted that United Methodist churches can serve and donate more effectively as a group than they can as individuals since they are a part of a connectional denomination.

Meanwhile, the American Red Cross has reportedly conducted blood drives on our campus six times a year since 2012, according to Embry Hills United Methodist Church.

To find out when the next one is, they can go to www.redcrossblood.org and use the sponsor code “embryhills."

According to the church's website, NETWorks Cooperative Ministry has provided overwhelming support.

The church said the organization provides "food and monetary aid to residents of Northlake-Embry Hills-Tucker" and works to "connect with individuals to identify long-term solutions to poverty" through its role as a donation drop-off place, volunteer recruitment, board membership, and other endeavors.
