The Neighborhood Church in Atlanta, Georgia said the Grow Kids and Youth is set to return for two summer fun days.
In a Facebook post on Friday, June 10, the Neighborhood Church shared a video of Grow kids and youth from a few years ago.
According to the church’s post, Grow kids and Grow youth are returning for two summer fun days on June 12 and July 10 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The church said the Grow groups are Neighborhood's small groups for inquiry, faith formation, and community, and the church is resuming GROW: kids for elementary school students and Grow youth for middle and high school students which are rising from 6th to 12th grades.
They will come together as a large group to reconnect, then separate into smaller groups based on age, according to the Neighborhood Church.
Parents are welcome to stay and participate in the activities, or to leave and return later, it added.
The church said all kids and youth are welcome at Grow groups, whether they have been doing it for years or are brand new.

Garden Expansion
The Neighborhood Church expressed gratitude to volunteers who assisted in the expansion of the garden.
The church also praised people who came out this past Sunday to assist plant the Neighborhood Church and Atlanta Ecumenical Urban Farm Network garden expansion on Mell Ave. in a Facebook post on Monday, June 6.
With the help of over 20 volunteers, the church was able to plant tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, kale, black-eyed peas, carrots, radishes, onions, garlic, and basil, according to the church's post.
They also helped clean up the existing garden beds at the church's driveway end, according to the church.
According to the church, they now seek their aid in maintaining the garden during the summer.
Hoses may be found on both sides of the church and should be completed in no more than 20 minutes on any given day.
Participants can register online for a specific time slot.
Neighborhood Church’s Discussion
This week's Neighborhood Church discussion was open to the public.
The Neighborhood Church launched its Neighborhood Conversation in a Facebook post on Monday, May 16, that gave a behind-the-scenes peek at how the church's worship series is being planned.
The church reviewed Luke 14:4-14 to see what Jesus is asking of them, according to the post.
According to the church, Jesus is asking them to affirm the worth and fullness of all people, not merely their value within an unjust and inequitable social framework, or if Jesus is asking them to affirm the worth and fullness of all individuals.

This year's Atlanta Fringe Festival featured the Neighborhood Church as one of the venues.
In a Facebook post on Thursday, May 19, the church announced the Atlanta Fringe Festival this weekend.
The Atlanta Fringe Festival is dedicated to bringing together brave artists and enthusiastic audiences for the benefit of Atlanta's artistic community, according to the church.
