The Peachtree Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, Georgia has invited the public to join for prayer amid heightened tension between Ukraine and Russia.
In a Facebook post on Saturday, Feb. 26, the Peachtree Presbyterian Church encouraged the public to join in prayer for peace amid the war in Ukraine.
The church has also posted the full prayer on its Facebook page.
The Peachtree Presbyterian Church stated that it has witnessed this week the self-serving acts of one land conspiring and banding together to attack and persecute the other.
Russia has arrogantly gone into the sovereign land of Ukraine under the guise of demilitarization, and men, women, and children have perished as a result of their destructive acts, according to the church.
The church asked for prayers for the safety of those in danger, for miraculous diplomatic intervention, and for a quick end to the invasion, the withdrawal of Russian forces, and the peaceful restoration of Ukraine's boundaries.

Ukraine-Russia Tension
According to the Associated Press report, a Russian military convoy approaching Kyiv is significantly larger than first thought, with the convoy spanning much of a 40-mile (64-kilometer) stretch of road north of the Ukrainian capital.
The report said explosions and gunfire were reported in congested cities in eastern Ukraine as Russia's assault met with unexpectedly strong resistance.
It also reported Russia's military attack on Ukraine entered its fifth day on Monday.
Near the Belarusian border, a Ukrainian delegation met with Russian officials, but no agreements were achieved other than to continue discussing. On the phone with Putin, France's President Emmanuel Macron pressed him to end the offensive.
According to the report, the Russian ruble has plummeted as a result of Western sanctions imposed in response to the invasion, forcing ordinary Russians to queue at banks and ATMs.
Russian teams have also been barred from all international soccer matches, including World Cup qualifiers in 2022, effectively making the country a sporting pariah, the report said.
According to the Associated Press, Kyiv's outgunned but tenacious troops held off Russia's advance for the time being and held on to the capital and other important cities.
The report said invasion has proven more challenging than the Kremlin anticipated, according to US officials, though this may alter as Moscow adjusts. The airspace of Ukraine remained under Russian control.
Church’s History
According to the Peachtree Presbyterian Church website, the only way for His disciples to make a difference in a society that sorely needs love, hope, and joy is for them to build an active, daily relationship with Jesus Christ.
Members of the church stated that they can join God in His great restoration endeavor by expanding the grasp of their faith and showing the sincerity of their beliefs in service to one another and the world.
People must join Christ in restoring all things on a daily basis, according to the Peachtree Presbyterian.
According to religion, God's love causes people to put their differences aside.
People encounter the fullness of God, according to the church, when they step out of their comfort zones, take risks, and push themselves to know and value one another.
The church claims that God's love is both warm and firm, inviting and challenging.
The church encourages people to balance these two aspects of God's love by reminding them that they are completely and finally loved while simultaneously challenging them to become more like Jesus on a daily basis.
