Calvary Church Littleton is now on its final session for the church’s All Things New Yoga Series. The four-class series started every Saturday, with the first-class happening on Jan. 8. Here’s how to join on its last session.
All Things New Yoga Series
As per its Eventbrite page, the All Things New Yoga Series’ final session will occur on Saturday, Jan. 29. Within one hour, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., all attendees of the yoga session must head to Calvary Church Littleton, located exactly at 1500 W. Littleton Blvd., Suite 140A, Littleton, Colorado.
Those unfamiliar with the place can go to their Eventbrite page for full instructions on the direction. Meanwhile, the event organizers highly require attendees to bring their own yoga mat, other yoga props or equipment, face masks, and water to rehydrate.
In line with the pandemic, the church facility will also have available hand sanitizer for everyone. It is also assured by the church and the organizers that the facility will be sanitized after every use.
On the other hand, those attendees who may feel uneasy or unwell on the day of the final session are strictly prohibited by the organizers from attending anymore. There was no additional information if the yoga series will have an online class instead.
For first-timers, the organizers of the event price the session at $12 for drop-in. Meanwhile, those who want to purchase a six Class Pass are charged $60, with passes valid until six months after purchase. As said, cash and checks are accepted as modes of payment, as well.
4-Class Yoga Series
As mentioned, the Adoration Yoga group initiated the 4-class yoga series. The group is said to be Christ-centered and aims to calm the minds of attendees, care for their bodies and nurture their spirits through mindful movement, focused breath, and serve authentic worship to the attendees.
According to its website, Adoration Yoga is a community that uses Christ-centered meditation to grow in physical and spiritual wellness.
As the organizers described it, the 4-class yoga series is a “safe place” for everyone. It is also the place where attendees can seek Jesus Christ with all their hearts, souls, minds, and strengths.
They also said that each class made in the series includes teaching attendees to enhance their physical postures and, at the same time, enjoy Christian worship music.
Sarah, who leads the yoga series in Littleton, is said to specialize in “Christ-centered yoga classes.” She has been with the group since 2018 but was already a long-distance runner ever since.
Sarah called her yoga practice Holy Yoga, which combines the art of yoga and worship activities for Christ. Since her calling to become an instructor in Littleton, Sarah decided to live in Denver, Colorado.
How Yoga Relaxes Body
According to the Healthline website, yoga allows people to reduce stress and anxiety in the mental and physical aspects. During each yoga session, the mood-boosting chemical called endorphins is usually released from the body, making the person feel good about himself.
