Marshall Fire Benefit Show
On Sunday, Feb. 13, from 4 pm to 6 pm, the Lyons Community Church invites all Coloradoans to watch their “evening of music” event. As per its Eventbrite page, the concert will occur at 350 West Main Street in Lyons.
As said, the Lyons Ditch Company band and friends will perform songs at the event. There was no information on whether the local choir at Lyons Community Church will perform as well.
Tickets at the event are now available on the page for $25 per person. An additional fee will also be included once guest uses Eventbrite. Those who have extra money and want to add a contribution to the outreach can also give donations via the page.
The church also encourages those who will not attend the concert event to give donations instead. Any amount can be sent to the church as part of the total proceeds.
As explained, the Lyons Community Church will collect all the money from the event. Once done, the local church will fully send the money to the Community Foundation of Boulder County.
According to its official website, the Community Foundation is a nonprofit that currently houses a Boulder County Wildfire Fund. As mentioned, at least $5 million in financial assistance were already divided to the victims of the massive fire. Various donors reportedly provided all that money looking to help Boulder residents.
Surprisingly, due to their continuous effort in collecting money for the fire victims, the organization was already able to raise nearly $20 million as of Thursday, Jan. 13.
Concert Rules
Those who have already booked their tickets for the Lyons Community Church concert are reminded by the church to follow standard COVID-19 protocols at the event. Such rules include wearing masks and only allowing vaccinated individuals to enter the concert grounds.
Space will also be limited inside the church, with only 30 individuals being allowed to see the live performances.
Those who are feeling sick or having signs of COVID-19 are highly encouraged by the church to stay at home. Instead, they can just stream the performances wherein the church will send the link to them by email.
